What is an apprenticeship?
An apprenticeship is a structured, work-based training program that allows individuals to learn a trade while earning an income. Here at Titan Marine you’ll be working alongside or more senior engineers, developing your skills first under close supervision. Eventually you’ll be running your own small projects and developing your leadership skills.
What qualifications will you need?
NCEA level one in maths English and science as a minimum. Prior industry experience is preferred. High work ethic and a good attitude, though, is essential – be keen to learn.

You’ll receive a nationally recognised qualification, which means more job opportunities and higher-paying roles. Titan Marine has an excellent reputation, so whether our apprentices stay on with us or leave to work abroad, they’re set up with a competitive edge.
